                               RESOLUTION NO. 19474
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF THE VETERANS BRIDGE
                   AND THE FRAZIER AVENUE RAMP, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON SATURDAY,
                   JUNE 13, 1992 FOR THE "GREAT CHATTANOOGA
                   RUBBER DUCK RACE" SPONSORED BY THE BOYS'
                   CLUB OF CHATTANOOGA, INC. UNDER CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the southbound lanes of the Veterans Bridge
       and the Frazier Avenue Ramp to the Veterans Bridge on Saturday,
       June 13, 1992 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for the "Great
       Chattanooga Rubber Duck Race" sponsored by the Boys' Club of
       Chattanooga, Inc. provided that the sponsors shall set out and
       pick up traffic cones, barricades, road closed and detour signs 
in
       accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and 
shall
       provide at all times an access lane for emergency vehicles.  The
       auxiliary police shall assist the Chattanooga Police Department 
in
       providing traffic control.
